The following Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases from Heritage Hampers Limited – trading as Heritage Hampers & Gifts (“the Company”):

Prices

Prices may be amended at any time by the Company without notice to reflect changes in supplier prices or operating cost structures, including alterations to the VAT rate, or any other Government taxes, outside of the control of the Company.

VAT

All items are clearly priced and include VAT.  
For customers registered and located within the EU (excluding ROI), who wish to send a gift outside of ROI on a VAT free basis, they  must be registered for VAT in their country and they must supply a valid VAT number  to the Company at the time of placing their order. Online this is available during the checkout process.

Product Substitutions

In the unusual event of a stated product being unavailable, the Company will substitute a product of equal or greater monetary value in its place.  Vintages of wines may change throughout the year.  Fruits used in Fresh Fruit Baskets will change depending on the season.

Photography

All gifts in this catalogue have been photographed to accurately reflect a real image of the gift.  Each gift is detailed to include a list of the items contained within that gift.  Props, used by the Company for the purpose of photographic enhancement, are not included in the gifts.

Payment

Payment on all orders placed with the Company must be made in full prior to the goods being dispatched.  In the event of full payment not being made for the goods, the Company may at its absolute discretion refuse to effect delivery of the goods.  Payment may be made by any of the following methods: Cheque/Postal Order/Bank Draft (made payable to “Heritage Hampers Limited”), Credit Card (Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Diners), Debit Card (Laser) or Cash on Collection (we do not accept cash by post).

Ownership

The goods remain the property of the Company until payment is received in full.  Nothing in the description of the goods shall be taken to constitute a sale by description. 

Delivery

All prices in this catalogue are exclusive of delivery charges. For Delivery charges please view full range on line. See Delivery section for further information and rates to other destinations .Bulk deliveries to one address will be charged at a special rate.  During the month of December, deliveries for specific days cannot be guaranteed we only provide weekly delivery guarantee.  Where orders are placed after 12th December, the Company does not accept responsibility for late delivery.  Proof of delivery of gifts shall be good evidence of the delivery of the specific gift as requested by the customer and no question shall be raised as to the delivery of a specific item therein. The customer is responsible for providing correct addresses, telephone numbers and postal codes. Our liability is limited to delivery to the building, not individual people. The Company cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery if the recipient address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect.  Local customs restrictions may apply for deliveries outside of the EU and the Company will not be responsible for delays due to customs regulations outside of the EU.  The Company is not responsible should local customs authorities confiscate any gift or any particular items contained within a gift or charge any duty. The Company reserve the right to charge the Customer an additional fee for carriage, handling charges in the event of a failed delivery caused by the supply of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address by the Customer.

Changes to Order

Order changes or cancellations made by the customer to the Company must be notified in writing to the company at least 5 working days prior to agreed date of dispatch. If not notified within this time a restocking fee may apply. A restocking fee will always apply for bespoke gifts.

Claims

Notification of damages or non-delivery must be made in writing within seven working days of the due delivery date.  Any shortfalls must be notified to the Company in writing within five working days of receipt of the goods.

Limitation as to Damages

The Company takes all reasonable care in packaging fragile or breakable items.  In the event that any such item(s) are damaged in transit, the Company shall be responsible for the replacement costs of the item(s) only.  The Company shall not in any way be responsible for any personal injury, inconsequential loss or damage to property howsoever caused.  Upon execution of the delivery documentation, the risk in respect of all goods will transfer to the customer.

Service Guarantee

The Company selects only the finest quality produce and products and these products are guaranteed for normal life under standard use.  It is the Company’s policy to ensure that all goods are supplied to its customers in perfect condition and that every precaution is taken to protect the integrity of every product sold by the Company.  If for any reason any of the products are not in good condition or do not meet expectations upon delivery, the product(s) concerned may be returned for replacement, refund or credit within five working days of receipt of the goods.  This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights as a consumer.

Confidentiality

The Company operates a policy of not selling, renting or sharing any of its customer’s information.  Use of the Company’s web site constitutes an agreement to the Company replying to the user by electronic mail for such purposes as the Company may consider appropriate.

Returns Policy

If you are not satisfied with your product please note we can only refund (excluding delivery charge) or exchange a product if we receive it back to our warehouse within 7 days of receipt. Returned product must be unused, in its original packaging and in re-saleable condition.
If goods are returned to us via the courier following unsuccessful delivery attempts and where delivery instructions have been met, refunds will not be given. In these circumstances the customer may request for the goods to be re-sent. This would incur the standard delivery charge and would not cover any spoilt perishable goods.  
If returning the item by post please include a note with the product stating the reason for the product return, along with your name, address, daytime phone number and Order Number.
Please ensure product is returned in original packaging and resalable condition, as no refund or exchange will be authorised unless these conditions are met and it will be returned to you by normal post without notice.
Please note that the return costs are not pre-paid.  Postage or other return costs will be the customer’s responsibility and will be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.  You must return the goods, together with their packaging, in the same condition as supplied to you.

General

Gift card messages or complimentary slips may be included in any gift.
Alcohol is only available for sale to persons aged 18 years and over.  By placing an order, the customer is confirming that they are at least 18 years of age.
The recipient of the goods MUST also be a minimum of 18 years of age.
In completing this order you confirm that both the person placing the order and receiving the goods are aged 18 or over.
The Company reserves the right to refuse to supply any individual or company and reserves the right to deny access to the Company’s web site.
