De Kuyper Amaretto
The name amaretto originated as a diminutive of the Italian word amaro, meaning “bitter”. This rich, versatile liqueur from De Kuyper which gets its flavour from almonds, vanilla and distillates of citrus fruits is wonderful on its own and adds flavours to sours and cocktails. Through antiquity we learned that almond aroma arouses passion in females. Only to release that aroma, you have to go beyond nuts. Don’t you worry, there are still almonds galore in our Amaretto. But with a little extra. For that extra something, we added some more hard to resist ingredients, such as vanilla extract and fresh lemon distillate. A touch of caramel finishes it, turning the liqueur deep gold.
